BMY is home to avreichim from across the globe: USA (East Coast, West Coast, Midwest), Canada, England, Russia, South Africa, Australia, Chile, and more.
A span of nearly 25 years separates our youngest and oldest learners, newlyweds through grandfathers, each one drawn by the same desire: serious, consistent Torah learning.
Our avreichim include professionals, programmers, therapists, teachers, sofrim — men who balance responsible lives with a deep commitment to growth in Torah.

Though they receive a modest stipend, their excitement, passion, and drive for learning are unmatched. BMY is a unique kollel, where avreichim can learn, work, and progress through a rigorous semicha program, all within a warm and uplifting community atmosphere.
